To Good to be True?

AHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
That is how I feel at the moment. So many emotions running through my body at one time!
But there good emotions I must say :)

But let me explain how this whole thing came to be......

It all started for me when Ellie's family adopted three children from Ethiopia in 2007. I saw God so much in this adoption. It was like every time I saw her she had another "God story" on how he had provided in some awesome way! But anyways when they came home from Ethiopia with the kids (Josiah, Keziah, and Keren) and I heard all these stories of the people and children there, and about all the orphaned kids. I immediately had a special place in my heart for those kids and the people of Ethiopia.

Then this past year ('08) Morgan's (aka MoMo) family adopted Amon and Amber from Ethiopia.
And it was like it all started again, when they got home from Ethiopia I saw more pictures and heard more stories, the fire in my heart for Ethiopia got stronger then ever!

And now my sister, Sarah, is traveling to Ethiopia in June for a month, to work in the Kechene School in Addis Ababa. Yes, I am verryy jealous. But you had to be 18 or older to go with the organization she is working through. Major Bummmmerrr.....

Well a couple of weeks ago, MoMo, sent me an email about this group Elpis International. And how they have groups go over there in July and December. I knew there was no way that I could go in July...I mean I don't even have a passport yet....not to mention raising the money.
But anyways I started praying about the Organization and the trips, and if it was something that God wanted me to pursue.

Well this past weekend the fantastic 4 had a sleep over (one out of many :) at MoMos house. And we told ellie and erica about the organization and the trip in December. And how awesome it would be if we could all go on this amazing journey together. Well after we told them about it, I got this super excited feeling in me, but at the same time this amazing calmness....and well it lasted all day...and all night..and into the next day! Well Ellers and Erkal also were super excited! haha we were all ready to hop in the car and go to the air port right then! But we knew we all had to go home and do some more serious praying about this

Well on the way home ellers, erical, and I realized that the same guy that is one of the head people of Elpis International is also the guy that Ellies family is working with to bring a boy they met in an orphanage in Ethiopia, to the U.S. on a Student Visa! Coincident? I think not...:)
Well it just so happens that the same guy is in town this week! And Ellie's parents and MoMos parents already had plans to meet with him! So Mrs. Eileen and Mr. Jerry(ellie's parents) met with him yesterday, and Mrs. Carla and Mr. Bob(momos parents) are meeting with them today.

This whole thing is gonna have to be a God thing. But if it is God's will then anything is possible. And we have already seen him work so many miracles in each others lives! It'll take a lot of prayer!! and Faith in Trust in the Lord that he'll provide :)

So please PRAY for the 4 of us as we embark on this journey, and that God's Will, will be made clear to us, and that we may be able to do his work!

for the sake of your name lead and guide me"

I exciteddddd

So, I am brain storming about how to raise more money other than baking. I know that I can keep doing this, but I wish there was another thing all four of us could do. So....keep your eyes open! And keep praying about it!!!

MoMo

Heyyyy!

Okay so I thought I would go ahead and be the first person to post....since I am sooo superly excited!!

Since I have started selling cookies, and banana bread....I have raised $375.00, and I am still getting orders! Even thought I am making money this way, not very many people want a cookie bouquet, most of them prefer to just buy several individual cookies. Unless it is a special occasion. I am still praying about what else to do, to raise more money for this mission. So if anybody has more ideas on where to take cookies to sell for the day, instead of taking orders...it is alot easier. Here is the website for just cookie pictures...which I need to update. lol

Anyways, keep praying on what else we can possibly do guys!
